Essania was born in 2001

The company founders, Carol Abbott and Gillian Bruce-Knight, combined their extensive retail and marketing backgrounds to create stunning impulse-buy ranges which make life easy for both the retailer and their customers.

The girls’ desire was to work with skilled factories, who could demonstrate a similar friendly and caring attitude, and to work where possible, with natural materials, creating products which reflect the beauty of our wonderful planet.

The collections are ethically sourced and are impactful, commercial and affordable. This successful combination has taken Essania’s ranges into global distribution. The company now enjoys multi-million dollar annual sales, with distribution in over 30 countries.
